Expedite Media Group pledges $50,000 to Hesed House capital campaign

AURORA, IL—Web design and development firm Expedite Media Group pledged $50,000 to Hesed House’s “2008 Building Bridges to Brighter Futures” capital campaign—both organizations are based in Aurora. In recognition of the company’s outstanding commitment, the Expedite Media Group Room will be housed in the new building at 680 South River Street, which is located directly across from Hesed House’s current facility. 

To date, over $530,000 has been raised through direct gifts and multi-year pledges, and most notably, the Expedite Media Group contribution moved campaign giving past the midpoint of its $1 million goal for the purchase and phase one renovation of the new building. “The entire team at Expedite is truly thrilled and honored to have this opportunity to support and contribute to such an amazing organization that is dedicated to improving lives in the community in which we work and live” said Expedite Media Group owner and CEO Viet Nguyen.

Hesed House executive director Ryan Dowd added, “It’s inspiring to see such a thriving company reinvest in the local community. Expedite Media Group has not only made an incredible financial contribution to the capital campaign, but their staff is also creating a computer training program to help Hesed House guests increase their knowledge and improve their employment opportunities.”

The new building will house all of the programs designed specifically to address the various issues that contribute to homelessness. The expansion of the Comprehensive Homeless Resource Center model will allow families to surround themselves with the vital services they need to transition from homelessness into stable living situations.
